the climb from St. Maddalena is relatively easy and unspectacular
at the Zanser Alm there is plenty of free parking
The cross section before view point no. 2 in komoot. A right turn towards the Adolf-Munkel-Weg. In this period of the year still plenty of snow, but the road through the forrest was clear.
Even in not ideal, foggy conditions the view might be considered spectacular by some people.
light snow but the road was clear and unproblematic
At the cross section towards Geisleralm the Adolf Munkel Weg can be continued in sommer and maybe also in winter with special equipment towards Rifugio Malga Brogles. At this time of the year with the current strolling equipment further advancement in this direction was not possible.
after the right turn towards the Geisler Alm the progress was slow: the fence near the path - just the top visible
ca. 1 m drop in the slowly melting snow
Geisleralm is also closed during winter but there is the possibility to sit down at one of the tables and make a break
the road down throw the skiing serpentines is also relatively unspectacular
before reaching the parkplace a stop in the summer for children activities at the Hochseilgarten Villnöss might be taken into consideration
