Nestled in the sunniest part of Switzerland, the vineyards near Sion and Anzère are a paradise for wine lovers and hikers alike. Perched on steep, terraced slopes and fed by ancient irrigation channels called bisses, these vineyards produce some of Valais’ most iconic wines.

From Lac de Châteaupré a short stroll has been made towards the viewpoint of the remains of Glacier de Moiry.
Like many glaciers in the Alps, Moiry is gradually retreating, making every visit both awe-inspiring and a quiet reminder of climate change.
